Film structures: what each layer does
Flexible packaging is laminated from 2–4 layers of plastic, aluminium or paper bonded with adhesive. The outer layer carries the print, the middle layer blocks oxygen and light, and the inner layer seals the pouch. We specify the structure for your product, shelf life and filling method.
| Structure (outside → inside, µm) | Properties | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| OPP20/MCPP25 | Clear, crisp, seals fast on packing machines | Snacks, confectionery, rollstock |
| PET12/PE | Clear, tough, glossy print surface | Zipper pouches for dry goods and nuts |
| PA15/PE | Flexible and puncture resistant | Vacuum bags, frozen food |
| PET12/MPET12/PE | Metallized look; good light and oxygen barrier | Coffee, tea, biscuits |
| PET12/AL6/PE | Highest light and oxygen barrier in this group | Roasted coffee, oily products, pharmaceuticals |
The inner PE layer is 30–200 µm thick, chosen by the fill weight and how sharp-edged the product is.
Inside our factory
Printing, lamination and pouch converting all happen in our factory at Ba Diem Commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
- Rotogravure printing: up to 10 colors – CMYK, white and spot colors – one engraved cylinder per color. Cylinders are engraved by our partner engraving company and stored at our factory, so repeat orders of the same design need no new cylinders.
- Lamination: solventless lamination, and solvent-based lamination for structures with aluminium foil.
- Converting: automatic bag-making lines for zipper, spout, flat-bottom, 3-side and 4-side seal pouches, plus slitting for rollstock.
- Quality control: every printed roll is checked against the approved proof at the press; finished pouches are inspected before packing.

Minimum order, lead time and samples
- Minimum order: one rotogravure film roll of 6,000 m per print run; flat-bottom pouches need one 12,000 m roll. How many pouches a roll gives depends on your pouch size – send the dieline and we will calculate it.
- Share one roll across designs: designs with the same size and film thickness can be ganged on one set of cylinders, so each design needs less film.
- Lead time: 15–21 days after approval of the print file and color proof, cylinder engraving included.
- Samples: free sample pouches for international buyers to test with your real product (courier cost confirmed with your quote).
- Tolerances: delivered quantity ±10%; total thickness ±5 µm.
How to order
- Send your specification: product, fill weight or volume, preferred pouch size and type, quantity and artwork if you have it.

- Print, laminate, convert: production in our factory in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Inspect and ship: finished pouches or rolls are inspected, packed in cartons and shipped.
Why source flexible packaging from Vietnam
Many brands in the US, EU, Japan and Australia add a Vietnamese supplier alongside China to spread sourcing risk. Working with a factory that prints, laminates and converts under one roof means one contact for the whole pouch, factory-direct pricing and no trading company in between.
Frequently asked questions
What is your minimum order quantity?
One rotogravure film roll of 6,000 m per print run, or 12,000 m for flat-bottom pouches. Several designs of the same size can share one roll. The number of pouches depends on your pouch size, so we calculate it from your dieline.
How long does production take?
15–21 days after you approve the print file and color proof, including cylinder engraving. Shipping time depends on your destination.
Do you make custom sizes?
Yes. We have no fixed sizes; you choose the size, material and thickness within our machine limits – for example, stand-up zipper pouches 9–30 cm wide and 16–45 cm high.
Are your pouches food safe?
Yes. The inner layer in contact with food is PE, CPP or MCPP, and the print sits between the laminated layers. We provide food-contact safety test reports on request. Our quality management system was certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the 2023–2026 period.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. We send free sample pouches so you can test the size and material with your real product; the courier cost is confirmed with your quote.
Can you help with artwork?
Yes. Our design team adapts your artwork to the pouch dieline, color count and rotogravure printing, and sends you a proof to approve before cylinders are engraved.
